For the Record...
My all time favorite piece of music to sing is Samuel Barber's "Knoxville, Summer of 1915." It is written for orchestra and soprano and the text is from James Agee's novel "A Death in the Family." No matter how many times I've worked on it or performed it, it always speaks to me and makes me so thankful I have the ability to sing it.
