I've always loved to sing! I grew up surrounded by music of all kinds and it wasn't long before I knew I wanted to make a career in opera. I love the music, the words, the physical sensation of making sound that allows the words to come alive, and the fun of becoming someone else on stage. There isn't anything else I'd rather do! I find teaching voice as exciting as singing itself. I've been teaching for 10 years and hope to continue for a long time to come! I love learning from my students while they're learning from me -- and we laugh a lot (and sing a lot!) while we're at it. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student make a discovery about the power of their own voice. ~ Renée
